This webpage is a collection of links to electronic document collections at NASA HQ and the NASA centers. They are among the many ways in which NASA complies with its mandate to distribute information concerning the agency's activities, and preserves NASA's hard-won knowledge for the next generation of scientists and engineers. All of these links lead to sites which are open for the public to explore and enjoy.

Academy of Program/Project & Engineering Leadership - the academy supports program and project management studies across NASA. It has a collection of case studies, a quarterly called ASK Magazine, and project management forums.
Ames Aviation Systems Division Publications - Papers on air traffic management and high-fidelity flight simulation.
Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science Directorate - List of full-text documents focusing on Apollo and human spaceflight to Mars. Also has some images of Mars and the Moon.
Earth Observing System Science Publications and Reports - Documents, handbooks, plans, brochures, and Earth Science Enterprise presentations at various conferences.
Goddard Library Repository - "The Goddard Library Repository is developed and managed by the Goddard Library and is designed to store, distribute, and preserve digital publications and other resources created by NASA Goddard Space Flight Center." This inlcudes the balloon technology database, NASA Case Studies, and colloquias at Goddard.
Important Landsat Websites - A listing of important handbooks and databases for the Landsat program, NASA's first Earth sciences satellites.
Intelligent Systems Division Publications - Searchable list of mostly full-text papers from Ames Research Center's Intelligent Systems Division, from 1998 to the present.
JSC History Portal - A description of the physical collection, a searchable index, and links to many online historical NASA resources.
Kennedy Space center Library Historical Electronic Documents - Scanned documents important to the history of NASA's Kennedy Space Center, including such items as a history of rocket umbilical systems.
Kennedy Space Center Technical Document System - Technical documents repository for NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
Life Sciences Data Archive - Database of experiments, missions, biospecimens, flight hardware items, personnel, documents and images.
Management and Policy Documents - This page is a list of links to scanned documents that are vital to understanding how NASA functions and its role in the federal government. Many of them are internally generated unclassified documents available in the library in hardcopy, but are difficult to find elsewhere.
NASA History Program Office - The central archive of NASA historical documents and publications.
NASA Headquarters FOIA Office - Offers contact information and procedures for submitting FOIA requests to NASA.
NASA Goddard Radiation Effects & Analysis - Test reports, presentations, papers, documents, and a searchable publication database.
NASA Interagency Agreements - Links to agreements between NASA and other agencies.
NASA Office of Inspector General (OIG) - Full-text reports, audits, memoranda, testimony, etc.
NASA Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs - Congressional hearings and testimony relevant to NASA and NASA's mission.
NASA Headquarters Office of Safety and Mission Assurance Documents - Directives, standards, plans, reference documents, and office work instructions.
NASA Lessons Learned Database - Database of events with lessons learned and recommendations.
NASA Office of Logic Design - Full-text NASA reports on digital engineering and programmable technology.
NASA Online Directives Information System (NODIS) - Full-text NASA policies and procedures.
NASA Procurement Reference Library - NASA FAR Supplement, Grant and Cooperative Agreement Handbook, and guidance for submitting unsolicited proposals.
NASA Safety Center - A large collection of reports, articles, lectures, and other documents on safety management.
NASA SBIR and STTR abstract archive - The operators of the archive suggest searching them "...if you are: a small technology firm reviewing past projects, a firm looking for potential business partners, a larger firm looking to invest in a technology, a government agency trying to discover what NASA SBIR/STTR projects may have to help you, a researcher examining current or prior state-of-the-art technology, or a university or other research organization looking to transfer technology into the market place".
NASA Software - A collection of software created by NASA in a wide range of disciplines including engineering, chemistry, aerodynamics, and other areas. The software is now offered for sale on the website.
NASA Tech Briefs - Index of NASA Tech Briefs articles from 1998-present and technical support packages (TSPs) from 2000 to present.
NASA TechFinder - Source for technology profiles, technology opportunity sheets, software technologies and success stories.
NASA Technical Report Server - Over 500,000 aerospace-related citations, over 200,000 full-text online documents, and over 500,000 images and videos are available. NTRS content continues to grow as new scientific and technical information (STI) is created or funded by NASA. The types of information found in the NTRS include: conference papers, journal articles, meeting papers, patents, research reports, images, movies, and technical videos.
NASA Technical Standards - NASA standards and NASA preferred standards including everything from AIAA and DOD to ISO and SAE. Also includes NASA handbooks. Many documents are available in full-text or can be requested by NASA employees. Open to the public with registration.
